Paryushan 2022

Our most auspicious time of the year is here! Our Paryushan program this year starts on Wednesday, August 24th and  ends on Wednesday, August 31st.

Below is a tentative schedule of events for this year.

Worksheet

Paryushan Mahaparva is the time to stay close to the soul, perform introspection, kshamapana, shed karmas and engage in soul purification activities. Please follow the Do’s and Don’ts worksheet for all adults and kids during these auspicious days.

You can print out the worksheets for each family member and assign points based on each activity. After you’re done, please submit the total score at the end of Paryushan, on September 1st, using this form.

We hope to see active participation from each family of JCGS and everyone motivates each other, especially the young generation, so they can take these practices forward for our future generations!
